In this Zoom conversation, BR-DGE CEO Brian Coburn, Peter and Simon of Flexiion MSP discuss the importance of setting guiding principles when starting out on a journey to bring to market a new online payments platform or other successful online projects. They discuss how these guiding principles help focus development teams, select the most appropriate suppliers and succeed.
At Flexiion MSP we regularly talk with business decision makers like Brian, at tech-enabled organisations, who are looking to get the right Cloud solution for their business objectives, as distinct from merely meeting a set of technical requirements.
We consistently find that almost above all else, when trying to implement successful online projects, these business decision makers value flexibility, agility and the ability to choose, so they, and their businesses, can respond effectively to evolving customer requirements and market conditions. Anything that constrains choice, such as vendor lock-in, internal skills gaps and unpredictable costs or vendor pricing models, undermine the ability to deliver successful online projects.
We are not a reseller trying to convince our customers to buy something different from us. We’re independent Cloud specialists, and work alongside internal business teams and devs. to identify and deliver the right Cloud solutions to meet individual business objectives.
Secondly, finding a Cloud solution to meet technical requirements is usually straightforward. The problems come from the business implications of those choices, which are often, understandably, invisible to tech teams.
